Apple Introduces ‘Apple Invites’: A New Way to Plan Events
Apple launched an entirely new application known as Apple Invites, meant to improve how one generates and distributes invitations to events. This new application, developed for the use of iPhone owners, allows one to send interactive, highly customized invitations, instead of standard calendar invites.
With an iCloud+ subscription, users can make their own invitations with pictures from their photo library, event-themed backgrounds in the app’s gallery, or AI-generated images via Apple’s Image Playground. The app is also connected to Apple Maps and Apple Weather, which can be used by guests to see the location of the event and check the weather for the day of the event.
Apple Invites even has the capacity to make a Shared Album in case participants would wish to upload memories about the function. It will also allow host and guest, at the same time, contribute to an Apple Music playlist that perfects the environment of the meeting.
Once it has been drafted, the invite can be forwarded to Apple devices as well as other non-Apple devices.
It is available free from the Apple App Store and also at icloud.com/invites/, but only in response to an invitation by an iCloud+ subscriber.
iCloud+ plans start at $0.99 per month.
Apple Invites is natively supported on all iPhone models running iOS 18 or later. By using a computer browser, one can also access the service at icloud.com/invites/.
Of course, non-Apple users can accept and even respond to an invitation sent by using Apple Invites. The former cannot initiate the invitation.
Event planning is made easier and interactive with the Apple Invites app. If it’s a birthday party, wedding, or corporate event, it will guarantee an easy process for both hosts and guests.
