‘S.W.A.T.’ Season 8 Returns to CBS: Premiere Date, Cast, and How to Watch

Fan-favorite cop drama ‘S.W.A.T. season 8  is coming back with new episodes this week after a mini winter break.

S.W.A.T.” had quite a ride to the eighth season. After being cancelled after Season 6, the show was revived for a limited run in Season 7. Due to positive support from viewers, it secured a full 22-episode order for Season 8, which premiered on October 18.

While Season 7 saw the closure of several storylines under the pretenses that would serve as the series finale, Season 8 has been filled with action-packed episodes. The mid-season finale on 13 December ended with a cliffhanger that involved several members of the “S.W.A.T.” team in risky situations.

Where to Watch and Stream 'S.W.A.T.' Season 8

The show will broadcast on CBS and has been scheduled for the 10 p.m. EST/PST time slot that was filled by “Blue Bloods” in December of its final 14th season. Episodes can be streamed after one day’s passing on Paramount+. Back seasons and episodes are also streaming on Paramount+.
