Former U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning regarding the Trump Iran Nuclear Deal, stating that if Iran does not agree to a new agreement, military action or strict economic sanctions could follow.
In an interview with Flash News, Trump confirmed that U.S. and Iranian officials are in discussions but did not share specific details. However, he made it clear that if no deal is reached, military strikes could be an option. “If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” Trump said. He also hinted at imposing secondary tariffs on Iran, similar to those enforced during his previous term.
Back in 2018, Trump withdrew the U.S. from the 2015 Trump Iran Nuclear Deal, which had imposed restrictions on Iran’s nuclear activities in exchange for easing sanctions. After the U.S. pulled out, heavy sanctions were reinstated, leading Iran to advance its uranium enrichment beyond agreed limits, causing global concern about its nuclear ambitions.
Despite Trump’s latest warning, Iran has not backed down. According to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, Iran responded to Trump’s message through Oman but remains firm in its position.
